Join us in celebrating our 50th Anniversary on Saturday, September 20, 2008, 1958 – 2008, at 1873 Old Louisquisset Pike (RI RT 246) Lincoln, RI.

Please arrive at 4 PM sharp to enjoy all the festivities. The Opening Ceremonies will be followed by the WORLD PREMIERE of the specially commissioned video:

IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD
50 years preserving and promoting Blackstone Valley Heritage
Written and narrated by Glenn Laxton; produced and videotaped by Tracey Ingle.

The video will be shown in the 2nd floor hall of North Gate. After the video, Hor D’oeuvres will be served in the downstairs hall and there will be time to view artifacts from the Historical Society’s collections in the North Gate Toll House, the Lime Rock Grange Fire Station and the reconstruction of the Arnold’s Lonsdale Bakery.
